Land Rover rangefinder vehicles generally refer to Land Rover models equipped with ACC adaptive cruise control (radar rangefinder) function (mostly high-end models such as Range Rover Genesis Extended, Defender, Discovery series, etc.). In addition to conventional Land Rover vehicle components, core rangefinder related specialized components are mainly divided into the following categories:

1. Core ranging detection components

Ranging radar sensor: It is the core hardware that realizes the ranging function, usually installed at the front grille or bumper of the vehicle, used to emit radar waves to detect the distance of obstacles ahead. Land Rover models equipped with ACC function often use medium to long range millimeter wave radar as the core sensor for distance measurement.

2. Distance measurement system control and auxiliary components

Radar control module: receives detection data from radar sensors, calculates the relative speed and distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle, sends instructions to the vehicle control system, and implements automatic following, active braking, and other actions.

Calibration bracket/calibration accessories: After repairing or replacing the radar, it is necessary to calibrate the radar detection angle using specialized calibration accessories to ensure ranging accuracy.

Related wiring harnesses and connectors: responsible for signal and power transmission between radar sensors, control modules, and vehicle buses, ensuring stable transmission of distance measurement data.
